Acústica Marina, among the nine teams in Desafío Avante

The Marine Acoustics team has been selected among the 9 finalists of Desafío Avante 2020, which is an open invitation for multidisciplinary teams to present innovative technological solutions to institutional challenges that have application to the military and civil world. The call was made by the Navy of Chile jointly with Know Hub Chile and the Athenalab Foundation, receiving 39 applications nationwide in its first version. The Marine Acoustics team for the Avante Challenge is transdisciplinary around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and is led by marine biologist Marcela Ruiz.
